William “Bill” Hamberg

William “Bill” Hamberg, 90, of Independence, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at St. Elizabeth in Fort Thomas.

Bill was an Army veteran and later worked as a UPS driver for 42 years. He loved animals and was an avid Reds fan.

He was preceded in death by wife, Florence “Jean” Hamberg;

Survived by sons, John Hamberg and Ed (Teresa) Hayward; sister, Janet Edmonson; and 2 grandchildren, Christopher and Michael.

Visitation 5 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday, July 26. Funeral service on Thursday, July 27 at 10 AM - all at SWINDLER & CURRIN FUNERAL HOME - INDEPENDENCE.

Interment Floral Hills Cemetery. Memorials to Alzheimer’s Association, 644 Linn Street, Cincinnati, OH 45203.
