William Dishon

William Dishon, 95, of Florence, formerly of Latonia, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Madonna Manor.

Bill was an Army veteran and served in World War II, where he was awarded the Bronze Star in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a retired carpenter and worked on the Garden of Hope. He enjoyed bowling and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 75 years, Dorothy Dishon; sons: Freddie D. (Sandra) Dishon of Florence, Tommy M. (Linda) Dishon of Union, and Gregory C. (Carla) Dishon of Alexandria; grandchildren: Rebecca, Kelly, Michele, and Julia and great grandchildren: Taylor, Addison, Kaitlyn, Chloe, Jared, Sara, and Willow.

A graveside service will take place on Thursday, May 25 at 2 PM at Independence Cemetery. Memorials to your charity of choice.
